Canadian Nationalism: How Do We Know Who Is Best?

I think the Olympics and other sporting events are a pretty good way to measure how proud you should be of your country. I mean, obviously only good, worthy nations can win medals. Nations that don’t win medals should be shunned.
A better way to judge the standard of each nation, though, is by judging its babe-quality…

Well… Canada deserved gold for its female divers for simply babe-quality in the field of ‘competitors.’ It made watching those horrible Air Canada commercials palatable…!

Yeah, the commercials became a little tiresome after the first hour of coverage…

In the aftermath of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games here in Vancouver, there is much talk about a renewed Canadian patriotism. Spontaneous bursts of O Canada in the streets, red wearing and flag waving were staples of the Games. Now that they are over, where does it leave us?
